"Wilderness," the debut mini-LP from Little Shrine is out today. San Francisco-based rock n' roll bassist and drummer, Jade Shipman found herself writing this unexpected group of classic folk songs, including "Not Today," which is now streaming at Spill Magazine.
"Delicate, yet powerful. The musicianship and balance of the strings, guitars, and vocals create a distinct mood," says Jake Craney of GroundSounds. Check out the music video for "Stone" by Little Shrine, taken from "Wilderness," an unexpected group of folk songs (think Cat Power, Laura Marling) written by San Francisco-based bassist and drummer, Jade Shipman. The trio plays a record release show at The Lost Church tomorrow evening.
