Chris J. Norwood recently spoke with Dallas Observer about his upcoming new album I Am Not Cool (coming next Friday, August 20 from State Fair Records), the conundrum of calling your album I Am Not Cool, and the album's powerful single "Good Guy With A Gun" about the untimely death of Norwood's father. Elroy recently chatted with Alex Green of the Stereo Embers Podcast about his debut album (out this Friday via Grand Phony), touring with his Dad's band Crowded House and with his friends Wild Nothing and Connan Mockasin, plus much more! Green says the record "is a shimmering collection of sonorous indie pop that manages to be both spare and textured at the same time. Finn is a master of musical light division and his work is brimming with low-fi folk, thoughtful psychedelia, pure poetry, and a lot of heart."

Acknowledging the tune’s heavy theme, Chris says, "We’ve been given fruitless answers about how to stop a bad guy with a gun, but little in the way of how to stop a good guy with a gun… I don’t have any solutions to offer, but my hope is to encourage dialogue."
