Blesson Roy continues the trip towards the release of Think Like Spring on Nov. 27th, with more trippiness! There's a pattern here, and the video for the latest single "Stays With You" follows it. The site calls it “intricately-arranged pop” and says “the song features a distant, delicately-picked guitar riff at its opening and Borden’s vocals low in the mix, recalling his biggest influences like Creation Records, 4AD, and Rough Trade.”
Think Like Spring is coming at the end of November from Slow Start Records.
Treble Zine has shared the “hazy yet lo-fi” clip for “Bungleweed Motherwort” by Figg, which it calls a “lovely, stripped-down dream folk tune.” The video was produced by the band’s Gilden Tunador and edited by Hector Gallardo of Subharmonic City.
According to Tunador, “the video’s visuals are a nod to My Bloody Valentine’s Loveless album cover…”

According to the site, it’s “an opus, reminiscent of the soulful cabaret of Anohni (Antony and the Johnsons) and the operatic range of Freddie Mercury (or perhaps more accurately, Hedwig) merged with a piano bar pianist who just had his heart handed to him on a platter."
