Jared Putnam is writing and recording and touring all of the time. Practice makes perfect as his songs get stronger all of the time, too. While still supporting his 2018 The March Divide album Anticipation Pops, tomorrow Putnam releases the latest in his "Distractions" series of singles, which includes "I Didn't Mean It," premiered today at Americana Highways: "Starting out in an acoustic guitar arrangement with haunting, sturdy sustained piano notes, the song unfolds into a tale of last good-byes." The upcoming debut album by Loose Wing (March 22nd) reminds of early Kill Rock Stars and K Records releases. The Seattle-based foursome is comprised of local vets of the scene, led by Claire Tucker of Black Nite Crash. The first single is "Beverly," which Atwood Magazine describes as "'a ghostly elegant expression of sorrow, self-doubt, and searching."
