| Jen always knew she wanted to work in the music industry. She learned how to play the piano when she was 7 years old and was known in the recital circuit as the "little girl in the red dress." By the time she was 12, she was playing guitar in a punk rock band with three boys she grew up with. They played at all of the best venues in town - namely the Nobel Middle School quad and her parents' backyard. Sometime in high school, after a disastrous show where an intense case of stage fright caused her to forget the words to Run DMC's "It's Tricky," she decided that performing was not for her
